Not So Quiet! Concert Series

Central Library, 1301 Olive Street, St. Louis MO 63103

Join us on April 20 in the Central Library Auditorium, as the Queen of St. Louis herself appears live and in-person for a singular show that will blow your mind as Not So Quiet! proudly presents KATARRA PARSON.

From serenading jazz lounges to championing beat battles to empowering women at TedX St. Louis, Katarra Parson has performed in venues across the nation.

This St. Louis native, singer-songwriter, musician and producer brings a variety of talents and styles to the table, pulling audiences into her impassioned performances with nuanced vocals and silky keys mixing and blending Soul, R&B, Jazz and Hip-Hop. Check her out here:

Katarra represents a creative force of Black Girl Magic. Whether solo or with her band of fellow St. Louis musicians, she brings a raw sultriness rarely heard with soulful runs reminiscent of the greats and does it all in a revival of Jazz-Scat style like you ain’t never heard!

Katarra Parson is a musical revolution and a emotional revelation wrapped up in one fantastic, ecclesiastic experience called music and spelled F-I-R-E. She has performed at Tishaura Jones' Mayoral Inauguration, receptions for Cori Bush's 2nd run for Congress and joints all over STL!

No tickets will be sold; all seating is first come – first served. Doors to the Auditorium open at 7 pm and the great Katarra Parson shall appear in her full force of womanhood from 7:30 until 9 pm. That’s 90 solid minutes of music for FREE!

The Not So Quiet! concert series is supported by In Depth with Graham Bensinger and St. Louis Public Library Foundation.
