Keep Going St. Louis...

One of my favorite things to do is be alone in church playing the piano. The night of the tornado, I was doing just that. I was afraid but felt safe within the walls of Affton Christian Church. Who knew that on the North side, Mrs. Patricia Anne Pendleton was doing just the same (right after volunteering)…

Who knew that just about a month ago would be our last time in Centennial Christian Church? Our last time in communion together. I remember shooting this video in awe of how gorgeous this old building was. How the voices of the choir and music resonated and echoed through my body. You could feel the spirit, the history, the legacy, and the community within its walls.

I'm grateful to have experienced this church, its members, and unbeknownst to me, Mrs. Patricia Anne Pendleton. Rest in Peace to all the lives lost, and peace be unto all devastated by this storm. And thank you to the beautiful humans who have been in the streets cleaning up, saving lives, and helping St. Louis heal. ❤️

Keep going St. Louis. ❤️
